WElcome to Second grade!
|
My name is Ms. Weiss and I am the second grade teacher at Saint Joseph Catholic School. I am excited and it is especially wonderful for me to be here because I grew up in this church and school! As a matter of fact, I have the joy of working with my former first grade teacher, Mrs. Johnson.
I have lived in Princeton my whole life. My loving family is pretty large. I have four sisters, and one of them is also a second grade teacher in our diocese. My oldest sister lives in California with her husband, two boys, and one girl. I have pictures of them on my desk. After graduating from Princeton Community I went to the University of Southern Indiana. There, I received my Bachelor’s degree in Elementary Education with a Reading endorsement. I have spent some time prior to teaching at this school working at a summer camp for children in this town and time working in the public elementary schools. I feel that Saint Joseph School is a very special place to learn and grow. I am happy to be a part of this family! I love to learn about all the subjects in our class, but my favorite is Religion. Being close to God and learning about Him is my top priority! Some of my favorite things include Mexican food, reading, the beach, dark chocolate, and the summer weather. I look forward to spending time and learning with all my students! |

Hi! My name is Madison Hubbard. This is my first year working at St. Joseph School as the Second Grade Aide. I am from Lanesville, Indiana. After graduating high school in 2022, I moved to Vincennes, IN, where I obtained my Associate of Science in Career/Technical (A.S.C.T.) Degree from Vincennes University, majoring in Welding! In the spring of 2024, I graduated and pursued nuclear welding. In my last semester of college, I met my amazing boyfriend, Nathan Rusch. Fun fact, Nathan is related to Father Gary!
When I am not in the classroom, you can find me shopping with my friends, getting iced coffee, going on fun golf cart rides, and swimming! Most importantly, I love making fun memories with my family. I love seeing the positive impact I can make on the kids in the classroom and seeing their smiles every day! |
